SACRED LIVING CIRCLES
Seasonal gatherings for grounding, connection and embodied ritual.
Life moves in cycles.
The seasons change.
Our bodies change.
Our relationships change.
We move through beginnings, endings, expansion, retreat, release and renewal.
Sacred Living Circles are an invitation to pause within those cycles rather than rush through them.
Held in the intimate land-based space of Awen Nayri in Carlton River, Tasmania, each circle offers women an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with themselves and mark the turning of the season in a meaningful way.
Through meditation, breath, reflection, ritual, embodiment and connection, we create space to listen inward and meet the season we're actually living.
You don't need to know anything about ritual or meditation.
You don't need to arrive with an intention or something to "work on."
You simply come as you are.
What happens in a Sacred Living Circle?
Every circle is different because every season carries its own invitation.
One gathering may call us towards grounding and release.
Another towards renewal and possibility.
Another towards rest, reflection or deeper connection.
The practices are shaped around the season and the women gathered.
You might experience:
guided meditation and breathwork
grounding and embodied practices
seasonal reflection
quiet contemplation
ritual and symbolic practices
connection with nature and the land
journaling or personal reflection
sharing within the circle
gentle integration practices
There is no performance and no expectation to share more than feels right.
The circle is held gently, with space for both connection and solitude.
Why gather with the seasons?
There is something powerful about stepping out of the everyday rhythm and consciously marking where we are.
The seasonal wheel gives us a natural invitation to notice:
What am I leaving behind?
What am I nurturing?
What am I ready to receive?
What is asking to emerge?
What needs to rest?
Rather than forcing ourselves to constantly grow, achieve and move forward, seasonal living reminds us that there are different kinds of growth.
Sometimes we expand.
Sometimes we release.
Sometimes we rest.
Sometimes we gather our energy beneath the surface.
And sometimes we simply need to pause long enough to recognise how far we've already travelled.
A space to come home to yourself
At the heart of every Sacred Living Circle is the same invitation:
Ground down. Open up. Stay Connected
Connected to your body.
Connected to your breath.
Connected to yourself.
Connected to the women around you.
And connected to the natural world and the rhythms that move through all of us.
This isn't about escaping everyday life.
It's about returning to it differently.
With greater presence.
More awareness.
And a deeper sense of connection with yourself.
The Seasonal Wheel
Throughout the year, Sacred Living Circles gather around seasonal thresholds and meaningful points within the natural cycle.
Themes may include:
Autumn - harvest, grounding, release and integration
Winter - rest, stillness, reflection and inner listening
Spring - renewal, emergence, possibility and growth
Summer - vitality, expression, expansion and celebration
We may also gather around equinoxes, solstices or other meaningful seasonal transitions.
Each circle has its own theme and invitation, shaped by the season and the energy of the gathering.
The Next Sacred Living Circle
The seasonal wheel continues to turn, and the next Awen Nayri Sacred Living Circle is currently being created.
Each gathering is shaped around the season we're entering and the invitation it brings — whether that is rest, release, renewal, grounding, expansion or expression.
The next circle will be announced soon.
